What is hydro demolition?
Hydro demolition (also called hydrodemolition or hydroblasting) uses a focused jet of water at ultra-high pressure to break up and wash away concrete. The jet attacks weak and deteriorated concrete first, so it removes the damaged material while sound concrete stays in place. Set up correctly, it cuts to a consistent depth across the whole work area.
Because there is no hammering, the concrete left behind isn't cracked or weakened by the removal. The result is a rough, clean surface that new concrete or repair mortar bonds to well.

How We Work
Water and Slurry Management
Hydro demolition water carries fine concrete particles and is highly alkaline, so we capture all run-off on site and treat it before it leaves. Solids are settled out, the pH is neutralised with COâ‚‚ dosing, and the water is discharged to meet EPA and site requirements. Sludge goes to a licensed facility.
